Popcorn done the Coconut Greens way

Now Friday movie night snacks at home are sorted for you and the kids with this batch of homemade fluffy popcorn with a twist.

Time to make

5 minutes


1 large bowl


½ cup organic popping corn

1.5 tbsp coconut oil

Himalayan pink salt

1-2 tsp Coconut Greens


Heat a large pot over medium heat, add the coconut oil, once completely melted put a few kernels in to test if the oil is ready to pop them. When ready pour the remainder of your corn kernels into pan and cover pot.  Listen for popping and shake pot every 10 seconds to evenly coat all kernels.  

Once popping begins to slow down remove the pot from heat.  Once you no longer hear the popping sound pour into a bowl and dust with coconut greens and salt to taste. 

Makes for a pretty nutritious bowl of sweet and salty popcorn plus the added bonus of getting a serve of veggies with your movie!
