Here's a spin on a classic Caesar Salad that we all know. Try swapping out bacon or chicken with tofu and wait til you taste the dressing...it's packed full of vitamins and minerals to get you through the day 🏃🏼♀️
Tofu Caesar salad with Greens Dressing
Ingredients
250 grams tofu cubed
1/3 cup corn flour
1/2 tsp chilli
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Olive oil
Method
Cut tofu into slices.
To a bowl add cornflour, chilli, onion powder, garlic and salt plus pepper to taste
Coat your tofu with this mixture until the tofu is covered well then add some olive oil to a pan and fry until crispy on both sides. Set aside.
In a bowl add in your salad ingredients
Greens mix with lettuce
Basil
Mint
Sesame seeds
Lemon slices
To make the greens dressing
Simply add together the following ingredients:
1/2 cup coconut yoghurt or coconut cream
1/2 tsp of @coconutgreens powder
1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic
Salt to taste
Coat your tossed salad mix with the creamy greens dressing and lastly add the crispy tofu to the top!
